Fresh from the recent completion of our Callinova SHOP sale, where we sold 25 SHOPs for a total of just under 30 million RFOX, we committed to raising the bar in every step of the way for the RFOX VALT metaverse we’re building. Since the auction, we have been speaking to several buyers who have shared their plans for the RFOX VALT and how they want to tackle their piece of the digital future. We’ve also proceeded to share our plans last week on what’s next for RFOX VALT.

To recap, we have identified 3 blockchain platforms that will be represented in the RFOX VALT and 2 companies that have had no affiliation to blockchain previously but bring exciting concepts to the space, including one who wants to take the RFOX VALT to a country we haven’t focused on to date. We also have the Chasing Space project, the other marquee client that hasn’t been announced yet, and VOID Cyber, who will be bringing in multiple premium brands.

We’re in the business of making these early supporters happy, so we continue to build out RFOX VALT. Last week, we moved fast to appoint the quartermasters who can help lay the foundations for the onboarding process on the RFOX VALT. This week, we have started adding avatars to our upcoming metaverse. And for the succeeding weeks, we are lining up new features. This week, we’re getting ready for Avatars in the RFOX VALT metaverse!

During last week’s update, we shared that we have started creating avatars on the RFOX VALT metaverse. For this feature, we are working with, ReadyPlayer.Me, an online service that lets you have one avatar for many parts of the metaverse that you want to explore.

Services like ReadyPlayer.Me fulfil one important part of metaverse-building, which is the creation of your virtual avatar that will interact with other people within the metaverse. ReadyPlayer.Me, is already working with some of the important names in the virtual reality and metaverse spaces right now, including DUNE, VR CHAT, vSpatial, Sidequest, and more. This means that when you create your own avatar on ReadyPlayer.Me, you can use that to explore RFOX VALT and on the hundreds of other virtual spaces being built on the metaverse as we speak.

Creating your own avatar on ReadyPlayer.me is easy. You just need to take a selfie, or upload your picture on the ReadyPlayer.Me, and it generates your 3D avatar in seconds. (You can also select one of the default faces provided, if you’re not into giving them your picture.) You can then customize your look, from your face to your costume, to create one of the many combinations possible for your avatar. Once you’re happy with your look, you can then create an account that will be attached to your avatar.

To make it possible for your avatar to move and interact within RFOX VALT, we are using the Final IK animation tool from the Unity Asset Store. We combine motion animation from that tool to your ReadyPlayer.Me avatar to complete your virtual body. Soon, you will be able to use that avatar to interact with fellow explorers in the RFOX VALT virtual space and enjoy what we have in store for you.

What do Avatars look like on RFOX VALT?

While we are in the early stages of setting up how your virtual presence will be seen inside the RFOX VALT, we can go right ahead and provide you with a glimpse of how that looks like at this point. This is just a sneak peek of us testing our avatars in a space where we exhibit our KOGs and other NFT artworks within RFOX VALT.

You’ll see more of how avatars work within RFOX VALT in an upcoming video. Also, we intend on holding community events using these avatars. One of these days, we’ll host AMAs in this virtual space.

What’s next for Avatars on RFOX VALT?

One more note about ReadyPlayer.me: its avatar generation tool gives you a selection of hoodies, jackets, etc. etc. in their default customization tool, and you can wear those outfits in all metaverse projects where they are supported.

One feature that we’re looking to incorporate into RFOX VALT is to offer exclusive merchandise for your Avatars in our space. It will be like NFT-based clothing, hoverboards, accessories, and other cool stuff you see in the early stages of the metaverse. This bodes well if you’re an NFT creator or artist, because this opens opportunities for you to sell your work and benefit from the metaverse we are building. More on this soon.

Now that all the SHOPs are sold in the Callinova quarter of RFOX VALT, we are currently in the process of selecting candidates for the task of being a Quartermaster. Who Are You?

As a quartermaster, you are not only a manager, but you are a master in customer service, operations, marketing, and sales. You are savvy and adept at interacting with clients. Your main goal is to make your clients happy. If they are happy, their customers are happy. You are responsible for everything that goes on in your quarter, including making sure that all the shops are running smoothly. If something is broken, you will have to find a way to fix it.
You are unique and one of a kind, so too is your role. You are entering a new realm where few before have travelled. You are ready to take the challenge and be a pioneer and part of history as we reshape e-commerce, media and gaming as we know it by being a catalyst in making our fully interoperable ecosystem a success.
Focusing on client retention is one thing, but you are also top-notch in acquiring and attracting brands to your quarter. You are successful when your clients are happy, their customers are happy and that your quarter is buzzing with traffic and sales.

Responsibilities

Manage and oversee operations, maintenance, administration, rent control and improvement of the shops
Address client complaints and resolve problems
Enforce governance, rules, and regulations
Prepare detailed budgets, financial reports and KPIs
Plan, schedule, and coordinate events, advertising, promotional and marketing strategies
Deal, negotiate and facilitate contracts
Review rents to ensure that they are in line with the market
Identify trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events aligned with the quarter’s theme
Discover and explore business opportunities by attracting clients and brands

Qualifications

Must have experience managing multiple clients
Preferably someone who has experience in the retail/e-commerce sector
Commercial acumen, understanding and management of revenue-based targets, budgets, and drivers
Strong exposure to multiple global brands
Experience in marketing and advertising is an advantage
Motivation for sales
Prospecting skills
Sales planning
Meeting sales goals
Strong customer service and client management skills
